Used that image for the land on the planet.
Other than that made this all from scratch.
What I mean by "from scratch" is that other than the picture above that I used for the land of the planet, everything you see here (effects, brushes and whatnot) were Photoshop defaults.
All this is pretty much just a lot of adding noise, blurring, rendering clouds, distorting etc.
Twas only 15 layers, tried to do most of this myself but ended up asking a friend for help on certain things. Still not sure how to hide that annoying atmosphere ring thing but ah well, that's what practice is for!
Decided to make a series of pieces following this planet to show its demise, so watch this space!
